Operations have been made on tendons of muscles on three levels - coxofemoral joint, knee joint, subtalus joint on both feet. After half a year children could walk for himself (see photos from the right side) with crutches. After one year they can walk normally without crutches or a stick. |

Young man of 21. Paralysis of muscles of low extremities, caused with polyomyelitis. He never walked before (left side). After the operative treatment on tendons and bones (right side), 4-5 months after completion of operation on one leg only, he could walk for himself with crutches. He could drive a car with manual control at that time. One year later the same treatment was performed on the other leg. Two years after paralised muscles of low extremities had restored their function. |
